Student Union Election 2026–27 Conducted at S.D.M. P.U. College, Honnavar
S.D.M. P.U. College, Honnavar, successfully conducted the Student Union Election for the academic year 2026–27 on 10 June 2026. The election process was carried out in a democratic and transparent manner under the supervision of Dr. Raju Malagimani, Principal, who served as the Chief Election Commissioner.
Students participated enthusiastically in the election process, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and leadership. The election provided an excellent platform for students to experience democratic practices and develop leadership qualities.
The smooth conduct of the election was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Shri Shriram Bhat, Student Union Advisor, Shri Prasanna Hegde, Lecturer in Political Science, and all faculty members, who actively coordinated and supervised the proceedings.
Following the election, Kum. Amrut Shet was elected as the General Secretary, and Krish Fernandes was elected as the Sports Secretary for the academic year 2026–27.
