Inauguration of Student Union and Gymkhana 2026–27

M.P.E. Society’s S.D.M. PU College, Honnavar, inaugurated the Student Union and Gymkhana for the academic year 2026–27. The programme marked the beginning of various student leadership, cultural, literary, and sports activities for the academic year.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Ananthamurthy Shastri, who encouraged students to actively participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities while maintaining academic excellence. He emphasized the importance of discipline, teamwork, and leadership in shaping responsible citizens.
The programme was presided over by Dr. Raju T. Malgimani, Principal, in the presence of Shri Krishnamoorthy Bhat, President of M.P.E. Society, management members, faculty, and students. The programme concluded with the introduction of the Student Union members and Gymkhana office bearers, followed by a vote of thanks.
